Will Canon's next model be the EOS R6 Mark II?

Rumors about Canon's next model are getting confusing. It's not the EOS R Mark II or EOS R8, but the EOS R6 Mark II. The rumor says it will have a 35mm CMOS sensor with about 24MP, similar to that of the EOS R3. This means it's a back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor. It's hard to believe that they'd put a stacked sensor in this class. Fujifilm uses a stacked sensor in the X-H2S, so will Canon compete with it and even surpass the Sony a7IV? It still uses a mechanical shutter and is said to be capable of shooting about 12 frames per second, but will the electronic shutter reach 30 frames per second? Considering the balance with the EOS R3, it's conceivable that it will be limited to 20 frames per second. In any case, it would be quite a surprise if it has a stacked sensor and is priced the same as the Sony a7IV. There is no doubt that it will be Dual Pixel CMOS AF II (or maybe CMOS AF III), but will it really adopt a new concept like Dual Pixel RAW Burst? The recording media seems to be SDUHS-II double slot, which is a safe bet. Either way, Canon will no doubt release a strategic camera.

JPEG straight out of the box. Unusually, this was taken with the wide-angle end of a high-magnification zoom lens. Nikon D500, AF-S DX VR 18-300mm F3.5-6.3G, aperture F8, 1./500 sec, AWB, ISO Auto.
