Yoon Yeo-jung x Lee Seo-jin x Jung Yu-mi x Park Seo-jun x Choi Woo-sik
〈The third installment of the "Youn's Kitchen" series by PD Na Young-seok〉
"Youn's Kitchen" is a variety show in which veteran actress Youn Yeo-jung, Lee Si-zon, Jung Yu-mi, and others run a Korean restaurant overseas for a limited time.
Youn's Kitchen started in Indonesia in 2017.
In 2018, Park Seo-jun joined them and they went to Spain.
And this third installment, "Youn Stay".
By the way, the fourth installment is "Seo-jin's House".
Due to the spread of COVID-19, overseas location shooting became impossible,
so they decided to run Youn's Kitchen in Korea for foreigners who have been staying in Korea for less than a year.
However, due to restrictions on the number of people dining and the current situation where travel within Korea is difficult,
if they are going to require reservations anyway,
they decided to offer lodging and meals in a traditional Korean house to give people a better feel of Korea.
The setting is a traditional Korean house in Gurye, South Jeolla Province.
This is a really beautiful traditional house.
It's hard to convey in photos,
but I'd love to stay in a place like this.
The grounds are also very spacious.
Choi Woo-sik will be joining the second group of members.
Choi Woo-sik was so, so good.
I knew he was a native English speaker,
but he has great communication skills.
He's very friendly to the members,
but he's also very friendly to the customers.
And he works hard.
It looks like he's having a hard time picking up customers, guiding them, serving meals, doing odd jobs,
running around the large grounds all the time, but he seems to be having fun and his likeability is sky rocketing.
It's not something you can do just because you're filming.
Their mischievous nature is also cute.
Jung Yumi and Park Seo Joon's cooking was amazing again.
They learned from the pros and practiced at home.
Thanks to that, the food looked really delicious.
There were too many dishes to introduce.
The main menu was chosen from several options,
and depending on the day, new items were added, removed, or reinstated.
As the guests were foreign,
there was a vegetarian menu.
Yoon Yeo Jeong was in charge of the check-in reception, taking food orders, and explaining the menu.
Isodine was mainly in charge of the cafe,
but she also helped out the busy Woo Shik and was very versatile.
The foreigners' reactions were so good that
just watching them made me smile.
Aside from meals,
it was also nice to see the guests gather in the rest lounge
chatting and playing traditional games to deepen their friendship.
Several groups of guests came per night,
and the combination was exquisite and good.
I think the audience has really fond memories of Korea.
I don't know why, whether it's because I enjoy watching the actors work hard,
because I'm captivated by the food the actors make,
or because I'm drawn to the personalities of the actors,
but PD Na Young-seok's shows are a lot of fun to watch.
By the way, the Youn Stay roof-shaped logo,
and the handle of the fan in my house is the same shape
